This personality quiz can determine how likeable you are

Did you know that there is a science behind whether your name matches your face? It's all to do with the sounds of your name and the measurements and angles of your profile.

A study, by researchers at the University of Otago in New Zealand, shows that people are more likeable when their name matches their faceso round faces are better paired with round sounding names, like Bob, and angular faces suit sharper sounding names, like Christina. This is known as the bouba/kiki effect.

Want to find out how likeable you are?

You've got to measure the shape of your face and the sounds of your name using a point system. Have a go at this personality test, presented by The Guardian

1. Give yourself points in terms of your face shape:

Angular face: 3 points

Rounded face: 1 point

In between angular and rounded: 2 points

2. Measure your first name by giving points to the vowels in it:

a: 2 points

e: 3 points

i: 3 points

o: 1 point

u: 1 point

Now take the average of your name score. For example, for the name Stephanie it would be: e: 3, a:2 , i: 3, e: 3 (3 + 2 + 3 + 3) ÷ 4 = 11 ÷ 4 = 2.75

3. Calculate the difference between your face-score and your name-score by subtracting whichever number is smaller from whichever is larger. So for a Stephanie with a round face, it would be 2.75 - 1 = 1.

4. The smaller the resulting number, the more likeable you are. The results range from 0 to 2. So if you score 0 you are the most likeable sort of person - well, according to this test anyway.

So how likeable are you?
