The 20-year-old entered as one of the eight originals and took a liking to Sean Pratt straight away.
He turned his attention to Zahida Allen and the two girls haven't seen eye-to-eye since.
It seemed Maisie's luck might change when Geordie Shore's Aaron Chalmers arrived as they'd previously slept together.
But in tonight's episode, his ex Becca Edwards turns up and immediately rocks the boat.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, Maisie said: "First thing for me when I saw her, I was like for f***'s sake.
"She is f***ing gorgeous, big t**s, amazing a**e, perfect lips."
She added: "Like every girl, a fit girl walks in and you feel threatened. It's another girl who's loud. I'm not a fan of girls. I sort of panic a bit, so we didn't get on which is obvious."
The glamour model's arrival puts a stop to any chance of another hook up though Maisie admits she empathised with Becca and Aaron's situation.
"They've obviously got a lot of history and I do understand that," she told us, "because it is really, really hard."
But at times it seems she took it too far, as Maisie said: "She is crazy. There were points where I was like, 'Mate, calm down,' but there were also points where I was like, 'Yeah, I do understand why you're like this.'"
Maisie hasn't had any action in any of the episodes so far but that isn't to say she hasn't been trying.
The Cardiff University student has been dropping one-liners left, right and centre that have left some hailing her a legend and others calling her desperate.
In last week's episode, she went on a plate-smashing date with the tattooed hunk but she said: "The only thing I want smashing is my vagina."
And she doesn't care about any backlash, admitting she expected a bit: "I said it. I know it's a bit out there and a bit loud but it came out of my mouth."
She told us she's trying to get #GushingFanny trending on Twitter but it hasn't yet taken off.
Despite owning her words and actions, the stunner would change things if she had a chance to do Ex On The Beach again.
"I would probably talk about my fanny less," she joked, "but I would be just as loud and just as boisterous because that is me and who I am."
She added: "I watch back and I see my lips moving and stuff coming out of my mouth and I'm like, 'Oh my God.'
"They can't have edited it because that has come out of my mouth but there you go. I said it and I'm an open girl."
